Okay, this is the 411 on this point system. On this site, rare to find on other sites, is a point system. This point system will be somewhat of a guide that shows you, as well as determines, how your character, mainly customs but canons as well in some cases, can develop.
Types of Points:
- Mission Points
- EXP Points
How important is it to have these points?
Well, thats a good question. To answer it... Its very important! You might as well be up a creek without a paddle if you dont have any points to your name! Points determine, like stated before, how your character develops. Without points, your character cannot develop into a strong shinobi, let alone rank up from ever being more than just a genin. Here are some explanations on the different points and what they do exactly...
-------------------------------------------------------------
~Mission Points:
Naturally, being a shinobi and all, you'll have to go on missions at some point in time. In that time, with every mission success you bring back to your village, you will gain points called "Mission Points". These points will allow your character to participate in event missions and plot stories. You need to have atleast 25 Mission Points to participate in the Chuunin exams.
-------------------------------------------------------------
~EXP Points:
Unlike the first type of points, the Exp points are not used to buy things for your ninja. Rather, these points determine your custom's ranking. To gain Exp, experience, points, you have to role play your character involved in many different things that involve combat and confrontation such as events, rp battles, simple interaction sparring, and many other things. (The most Exp Points that will be given out at a time would be 5 Exp Points. These points are only given when a character truely deserves then through great RP battles/spars with great grammer and sentence structure in the posts) Once you gain a certain amount of Exp points, you "Level up" in your ranking. The ranking system is as follows:
0pts-25pts > D-Rank
26pts-50pts > C-Rank
51pts-75pts > B-Rank
76pts-100pts > A-Rank
101pts-199pts > S-Rank
200pts > S+ (Elite) Rank
Note: You cannot participate in the Chuunin Exams unless you have Exp Points of 25 or higher. Ninja with 24 Exp Points or lower will not be permitted to participate in the exams.
Also showing the strength of your ninja, the Exp Point system also grants access to many things. As stated above, only those with Exp Points of 25 and higher can participate in the exams. Ninja of Chuunin level who want to be selected for the upgrade to Jounin must have a minimum of 63 Exp Points along with a history of atleast 5 mission successes.
(Note) Because you have an S-Rank Level, that doesn't mean you can challenge Jounins and Chuunins. A Genin's S-Rank equals a Chuunin's C-Rank. A Chuunin's S-rank equals a Jounin's D-Rank.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Where can I see how many points I have?
Well, you can't. The stats for all your points are located in your profile in an admin accessible area only where only admins can modify and view it (The "Account Notes" area). If you want to know how many points you have, all you have to do is simply ask either Minato or myself to give you your points stats and we'll PM them to you.
And thats about all there is to know about the types of points and their importance! Make sure to ask an admin or moderator about anything you are still unclear about!
