Name:
Marth Ikuraio (Maw-erth Eek-ew-rie-yo)
Age:
13
Height:
4' 3"
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
(His outfit varies constantly, much unlike that of the average Naruto character. I'll anounce what he's wearing in the entrance to every thread. However, one thing that is not shown in the picture, is that Marth does require glasses, for he is parcially blind. But I must also add, that this picture is taken for the eyes itself, and this is a depiction of what it looks like when his Kekkai Genkai is activated. Otherwise, his pupils are round and iris color is a light blue.)
Personality:
Very timid and shy, Marth is not one for talking. Instead, he uses his music to express whatever he may be thinking. The sound in which he may create may show whether or not he is sad, happy, angry or excited. What he plays all depends on what he's feeling though. So if you hear a delightful little tune, in most cases, he's probably in a good mood.
However, when away from his weapon of choice, Marth instead uses a harmonica to communicate. Finding it easier to communicate by not talking, he may not make any sound at all in order to get this point across. It all depends though. For even though Marth doesn't like to talk, he does have an oppinion. And when it needs to be heard, he'll voice it out.
It may be because of the fact that he doesn't talk much, that his oppinion may be widely known for being wise and trustworthy.
Village:
Konohagakure no Sato (Hidden Leaf Village)
Hi no Kuni (Fire Country)
Jutsus:
Sparking When in the midst of a battle, if Marth has enough chakra, he may use this technique. It uses a large sum of chakra, enough so that a Genin should only use it once on risk of running dry on energy, but in return it increases the physical strength of a ninja by an insane amount for a short burst. Only a single manuever can be done in this burst, but there is enough strength packed into a single punch that one could break through a wall as large as Konoha's gates. However, it also leaves a great mental and physical strain on the ninja after use.
During the moment in which a ninja uses this technique, their skin may become dark and hot as if they were burning. This is because the sweat glands fail to work during this time. This technique is not related to the eight gates, but is rather closer to that of a chakra release, were all of the required chakra is used up in supply of the physical strength, rather than built up in a mass amount due to a release of control over one's own chakra supply. Due to this, it is not as dangerous as one fo the Eight Gates techniques, but when used in rapid succession does run the risk of dieing of heat-stroke or dehydration when the body's temperature runs over a certain point.
Shunshin no Jutsu A basic ninjutsu manuever that allows for a ninja to move a high speeds, unseen by the untrained eye. However, it is only for a short distance that they can do this. Maybe twenty to thirty feet per use of this technique.
Phasing A technique much like that of the Kawarimi no jutsu, the only difference is that the user does not put an object within his place. This makes it much more easy to pull off, however less traps can be used in this way by deceiving the opponent. As it's a last second manuever, and the user uses high speed to move himself out of the way, rather than ninjutsu. For Marth this can only be done while in use of his Sparking technique, or when free of his weights.
Kekki Genkai:
Takarei Using chakra, the Ikuraio clan can improve their eye-sight as much as possible, to the extent where they have the ability to scope out objects as far as their eyes can see. But the eye also holds another great ability, as the kekkai genkai not only affects the visual ability of the eye itself, but of the molecular structure of the mucus around the eye and air infront of it. Doing so, they condense the air directly infront of the eyes to the point where it's much like a telescope, and one can bend the vision of what they see and look on to see something past where a normal being can see with the naked eye. And using their ability to bend what they see, they can spot anyone and anything clearly, within a quarter mile of their person. However they cannot bend their line of sight, so they can only see straight on.
However, Marth is yet to learn this kekkai genkai, and it is not until the age of Fourteen that this bloodline usually is picked up by clan members.
History:
Known specifically for his Taijutsu skills since birth, Marth has been able to only use the most basic of techniques. With little known in Genjutsu or Ninjutsu, Marth must rely on his skills with Taijutsu and wit in order to overcome his enemies. But, he is well known for his high ability in Taijutsu.
Since the age of first walking and basic understanding, Marth has been trained to become a master in Taijutsu. His father first taught him this and trained him to overcome the obstacle that he could not. As his father was a Genjutsu specialist, and had little skill in Taijutsu, he thought he could train his son to master the skill in which he could never master. For he knew that Genjutsu could be taught later, but Taijutsu was to come first.
This training started out slow at first, during Marth's tender age of Four, he was trained to first increase the toughness of his skin, learning to walk over heated coals and strengthen the bones by striking logs and sit underneath a hot-spring's run off of water, meaning a hot waterfall. This training went until midway through his fifth year of life, when his body was finally tough enough to take a rock to the back of his hand, and break the rock.
After that it was all about speed and strength. Now that his body could take the training, his father began teaching him to wear weighted clothing, and how to increase his strength. Speed would come over time as long as he wore the weights. But strength was the real concern, as he would take on jobs to help the elderly farmers of his village and wear the weights as he did the difficult tasks that they required help for.
By the age of six, he was enrolled in the academy. But days before he was finally started, his father was made to take a simple B rank mission. Marth waited for him to return, only breaking his routine of sitting on the front porch of his home to visit school. And upon returning home one day, his mother gave him a headband that had a forehead protector on it, stained with blood, the cloth was ruined. But it mattered not to Marth, from that day forward, he vowed he would become the strongest ninja, and kill whomever may have killed his father. Later that same week, Marth received a bow and set of arrows from his mother. It was that of his father's design, and use. They were the same arrows used, for which the Kekkai Genkai was designated. But for the moment, Marth has no use for these. So they were stored in his closet to be used another day.
Those first years of being a ninja were rough, but he continued the trainings where his father left off, and quickly overcame the basic testing of becoming a ninja. And when presented with a headband upon graduating the academy, Marth refused to take it, and instead showed that of his own fathers. Tieing the cloth to his head, and fastening the forehead protector to the headband, he walked out of the academy as a young man, and a ninja.
The only difficulty that came with being a ninja was that his father had never taught him the essentials in Ninjutsu nor Genjutsu. So Marth was forced into the life of being a Taijutsu specialist. Not being able to use more than the most basic of Ninjutsu skills, Marth will one day be known for his adept skills in Taijutsu.
