Alright, this place is gone to the dogs already.
Anyone feel like to help me build a new site to replace the dead site which is this one we are on? I don't want to be the admin, so I'll request someone like San, Takashi or another active member take on that responsibility, but I'd like to get one started. Unfortunate as it is to say, the 00' series is dead. So we're going to have to start up a new franchise of sites, or just try to stick to one site for a long period of time.
Anyone up to the task of making a proboard site to last for a long time?
I'll need people who are skilled in skin creation, html/java and someone who has a d**n good knowledge of Naruto that has to rival that of my own. Which means, you should be able to tell me every last detail of how the elements work, how chakra is utilized in jutsus and how each ninja is ranked. Not to mention you should have a high level of mathematical skill. Why mathematical skill? Because it's important. I'll explain later, but for those of you who probably already realized what it's for, it's related to physics.

I have to agree with Kagami here, school is pretty much to blame on giving the 00' theme a long flatline. but it seems to always get back up after school is in its easy going stages. And I for one love college leactures ^^ I don't think the format of this site is the cause of it's frozen state, it will always be the people that will determine the life span of a site not the site itself its a social science. I for one heart the 00' sites ^_^

Your statement Zich, is all based on the fact that my determination was based on the site. No, it's based moreso on the people themselves who created the site. They're inactive just as before, and it's bound to happen again where the site dies out. If it doesn't happen now, it will happen in 4 or 5 months when the next semester rolls around and we start new classes. That's why I'm asking, no I'm actually imposing on the fact that we start a new site with a more active staff. Because yes, a site can live on for as long as there are active members Zich, but it's just more fun if the staff are there with you.
Now you all know we said that with the last site, that it was school's new semester that was slowing it down. Because we had it fine up until the second semester of school which started in like Feb. 2008, and then that site went almost completely inactive where it had just a few last punches in the meter where we had small activity. And that was up until this site started up where we came on here. I'm sure this site could get a few more months out of it if we squeeze the living crap out of it and Rp at pretty much the bare minnimum with a very small morsel of people that remain and would join. But as much as I heart the 00' sites as well Zich and Kagami, I know when there's a better bet to go on.
Now I would like to say 00' is well and alive and will go on for the span which we think it should go on, meaning at least a year and that many active members will join and remain to keep us going. But guys, it's just not going to happen. Unfortunately we've taken the series to the point where we can't keep it as a main-stage site any further. And the fact that our admin/staff are going inactive this early in the site's creation is the largest reason behind this.
Yeah, the staff may return at almost any time, but again, that's almost any time. That could be no telling between today, tomorrow or a month from now. But this same reason on which sites die happens every year since we transferred to 07'. Our staff goes inactive, and then the rest of the site slowly stops coming until only like 5 or so people are left, and then the site tries to keep itself alive by transfering over early to the next step of the line and thereby try and keep things interesting and gather more members again. It worked once, maybe twice, but we transferred only halfway through the year this time. And already, before the year 2009 starts, we're already having inactive members/admins.
SO before the site dies completely again and I along with other members go inactive (as I know I'm bound to go with the others if this happens again), I think we should transfer over to a new site and start recruiting some more members again. It's not about whether or not you heart the 00' sites.

(I counter your 5 clean and nicely punctuated paragraphs with this bunch of random insight crap that is called a reply xD lol)
I agree with you there Marth. Since the admins are like full time students maybe its hard for them to check once in a while, or perhaps other things I don't know so its unknown to me the reason of thier absence. If the staff were here a little bit more frequently it would prolly give rise to those who are active to stay active. kinda covered 85% of the flatlining. (which from what I've read seems to be the admins fault)
Maybe if we ever want to keep this 00' thing going on it would have to be time to pass down the tourch to someone who has the time, knowledge, and the want. from there we'd prolly get more active staff as well as new members who will be active. I'd be glad to help, but I got a fundation to keep running, classes, and anime (xD) also I don't feel like remembering how to work codes, or making site designs anymore since I quit that. You could prolly look for other people who are interested in taking the staff position. Truthfully speaking I don't think we should even discuss this since we are all like birds, we migrate to potionaly active sites, stay there watch it die slowly, migrate once again. As you said its been like this since 07' So someone just make a site and lets see how it all goes along.
Atm I have a three day weekend so I'm off to start another maraton of a completed anime so my hands are full xD hope fully some members will take a peek at this page and work on a new site.

OMG! Lazy peoples... I've made the site myself. But It'll be four or five days before I can get it to the point where it runs properly. I'll include the link on Thursday or Friday when I'm done.
